SHOCKING: How She Saved Herself From Heart Disease

It is no secret that I love what I do!  I have been blessed with the opportunity to help women get HEALTHIER & HAPPIER.  Who wouldn’t love that?

This week Vicky Parrish made me proud.  What she accomplished didn’t just happen this week.  It actually started a few months ago.  And I have been proud of her every step of the way.

There are so many things to be proud of.  She dropped from a SIZE 12 to a SIZE 6.  She has lost 25lbs so far.  Her body fat dropped from the high 30’s into the healthy 20’s.  But the most AMAZING change is what happened to the inside of her body.

She did what most people don’t do.  She took the road less travelled.  What made her do that?  And how did that turn out for her?

Here is how it all stated:
She got bad news from her doctor.  At her annual check-up her doctor was shocked at how high her triglycerides were.  They were 380 –  YIKES!  The doctor told her this was scary high.  Vicky was shocked.  She had no idea that she was walking around with triglycerides this high.

Why do high triglycerides matter?  According to the Mayo Clinic, high triglycerides can increase your risk of heart disease.  That is very scary for a woman in her prime (should be fun 50’s) to hear.

What did she do?
Did she start taking a new medicine?  Did she say it was genetics?  Did she get depressed about it?  No, no, and no.

She took action:
She did what too few of us do.  She took the road less travelled.  She had a short pity party and then she TOOK ACTION to FIX IT!  She started exercising consistently 3-4 days/week at my Women’s Fitness & Training Center – The Pink Physique.  She did a combination of cardio and strength training every week – no matter what.  Then she began changing her diet and getting rid of the junk (even though she works in a restaurant around food all day).

She tells her story much better than me in these 3 short videos where we follow her LIFE TRANSFORMATION.  If you are not inspired by her story please check your pulse 🙂

Part 3:
This is the day after her most recent check-in with her doctor. SHOCKING!

Part 2:
Right before her doctor’s appt.  She wanted to get her body fat, weight, and BMI checked before she went to see her doctor.

Part 1:
When I first did a check-in with Vicky to check on her progress and find out what made her CHANGE HER LIFE!

WAY TO GO VICKY!!!  Go out and live your NEW LIFE!!!  If Vicky can do it so can YOU! Many people say that the hardest part of changing your body is changing your diet.  I used to agree with that.  But I have learned that the hardest part of changing your body  is getting started (taking action).

I would love for you to show your support for Vicky below and leave a comment below.  Don’t be shy 🙂 And share this video with your family and friends.  Who knows how many people will be inspired to change their lives after hearing Vicky’s story?

Until Next time 🙂

Allie, I’m Mark Parrish, Vicky’s husband. I wanted to “Thank You” for the encouragement, training & knowledge you have provided my wonderful wife. She and I have both been on this adventure together & I have even lost 19 lbs with our diet – lifestyle change. Now, I just need to add in my own strength / cardio program & then maybe I can keep up with Vicky! Many Thanks to you & Stephanie!
