5 Ways to Avoid & Decrease Joint Pain

“I’d say my #1 struggle is aching knees after working out and walking” (excerpt from an email I recently received from blog reader Naila) Anyone else out there deal with this?

Ouch!  Chronic joint pain is a huge obstacle for many of us attempting to get fit and healthy.  Exercising in pain is no fun.  Just the thought has many of us too afraid to even attempt it.  Have you skipped or given up on exercise because of joint pain?

I went to Exercise & Injury Specialist Rick Kaselj to get his advice on how we can avoid and prevent joint pain while continuing to stay active and fit.

Here are the 3 Reasons we have more Joint Problems now than ever before:

  1. Being Overweight (Rick tells us what an extra 10 lbs does to our knee joints)
  2. Posture (especially the head posture)
  3. Repetitive Movements

Guess What the MOST Common Joint injuries are in Women and Men???  They are different for both.

Rick gives us 5 WAYS to heal our body through movement:

  1. Restore Movement
  2. Improving Stability
  3. Improving Range of Motion
  4. Adding Whole Body Movement
  5. Increasing Strength
