Day 1 – the right mindset
When you’re getting started on your fitness journey, it’s the most important thing to be able to change your mindset. Without doing so, many people have set themselves up for failure. Loving yourself, and accepting where you’re at in order to provide self care as your starting point is a great way to get started!
Day 2 / 3 – the right foods
‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.’ This quote by Hippocrates says it all. A lot of what’s going on when we’re trying to become healthier can be found in the food that we eat. If we change to a healthier diet, we can find our bodies working more efficiently in every capacity – not just by helping us lose weight, but by helping us get better sleep, and even be in a better mood!
Day 4 / 5- the right moves
Exercise should never be punishment for what you have eaten. Instead, it’s a celebration of how your body can move, it’s a way for it to burn that fat, stretch those muscles, work those joints and bones, and even brings endorphins to the brain so you feel good after you’re done. It’s a daily dose of challenging yourself.
