Killer Body Shaper Workout: Only 4 Moves

As women, we want to look our best at all times.  It takes a lot of effort to be at our “A” game all the time.  Looking fabulous means frequent trips to the hair salon, make-up counter, nail salon, and shopping for clothes that fit just right (that don’t make our butt look too big).  It can be exhausting.

As a woman, I am amazed at how much time, energy, and money I invest on my exterior appearance. Our obsession with body appearance is not a new phenomenon.  Wanting to look our best in our clothes started many centuries ago.  Corsets became popular in the 16th century and women still wear them today.  They are making a huge comeback in the form of waist trainers thanks to an October 2014 Instagram post by Kim Kardashian.

The body shaper market continues to grow each year.  I know you ladies remember when Spanx were the “new” celebrity secret for looking fabulous on the Red Carpet.  More recently, local Macon, Georgia based company Hold Your Haunches got a deal on the hit series Shark Tank with Lori Greiner and Barbara Corcoran for their body shaping leggings.  They have now added tank tops to expand their line-up.

Lucky for me I get to dress in active wear most days and this makes shopping for clothes pretty easy.  These days I am not alone sporting my workout wear everywhere as more women are wearing active wear as everyday wear than ever before.  It is no surprise that active wear companies are now capitalizing on the body shaper market.

Did you know that Spanx even has a line of active wear?  One of my favorite active wear brands, Lorna Jane, has a line called Core Stability that has compression fabric built in to hold the belly in and lift the butt.  Even the top brands like Nike and Champion have introduced shape wear into many of their activewear products.  This trend is not going anywhere but up, up, up.

Permanently Shape Your Body
Body shapers can be a great way to smooth imperfections and hold everything a little tighter.  However, they can only hold and smooth so much.  Burning fat, improving posture, and toning the body is the BEST BODY SHAPER out there, hands down.
